Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress who is best famous for her character of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. Also, she was recognized for her television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the pair that wrote the film Immortals. Additionally, she's working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
